Can you reposte the error building with LC_ALL=C set, so that the message would appear in english?
How must I set LC_ALL? I've tried an "export LC_ALL=C" in the shell before emerging akode, and I've put it into my make.conf but the message appears in german. This is my manual translation: [..] Making all in autom4te.cache make[2]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/akode-3.5_alpha1/work/akode-3.5_alpha1/autom4te.cache' make[2]: *** No rule for creating/making

As noted in comment #4, all your bugs are invalid b/c you have stupid things in ACCEPT_KEYWORDS.
It was necessary to put the amd64-keyword in my make.conf, because some of the kde-3.5_alpha1-packages did have only the keyword amd64 in their ebuild file. Without setting amd64 to my make.conf, I wouldn't been able to emerge the packages. So there was no stupidity, but necessarity.

So there was no stupidity, but necessarity. You sure are joking, right? CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" is *not* amd64, neither is Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.73GHz an AMD64 processor. Closing this pointless bug.
