Description Richard Gray 2005-08-25 01:59:36 UTC
Experimenting with input file of MPEG4 movie file(DivX)about 1.2GB where the
sound is slightly out of sync with the picture.

avisync -i myfile.avi -o myfile.resync.avi -n 2

Gets most of the way through and then segfaults. I can reproduce this problem
every time, but I haven't tried on another file - avisync should not segfault in
any event.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
As above.

Expected Results:
avisync should not segfault.

You forgot to reopen the bug. If you forget to do so, chances are high that
noone will ever notice again next time.

Not really forgetfulness, just pure ignorance. I'll know better next time, thanks!

Same here with transcode-0.6.14-r2 AND transcode-1.0.2, this time with a XVID file.

The problem doesn't apply only to gentoo, however. Here is a related thread on
transcode-devel ml: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.video.transcode.devel/2693

Didn't try the latest snapshot from cvs.

If it's an upstream issue, please reopen when they'll have a patch.
