Also worth noting, the remmina 1.2 branch will support freerdp 1.2 (worth noting since the remmina 1.1 branch only supports freerdp 1.1)

It's worth pointing out that however duplicate or late to the game, Bug 540318 had a working ebuild attached.  The upstream code, however, fails to compile with SSH support.

This solves the cmake-3.1 dependency that probably most people with remmina installed are experiencing.

This ebuild also solves the problem with the ssh USE. The missing function causing the build to fail is provided by x11-libs/vte, so this is actually an easy fix:

REQUIRED_USE="ssh? ( vte )

I don't know whether specifcally vte:2.90 is required or vte:2.91 would work too. But I can confirm that remmina-1.2.0_rc2 still works with vte:2.90.

BTW, working under 1.2.0, maybe we should commit into tree the 1.1.2?
Slightly modified ebuild in attach: as I guess, SF.net is primary distfiles mirror, github contains only 1.0.0 (!) version.

net-misc/remmina-1.2.0_rc3 is in portage, please close this bug.

It is [in tree].
But it still seems to be incomplete.

Could you check net-misc/remmina-1.2.0_rc3 on issue described in bug #522506
(«=net-misc/remmina-1.0.0_p20130723 should depend on x11-base/xorg-server[kdrive]»)?
