Description Iain Buchanan 2008-06-12 02:52:11 UTC
the minicom completion in /etc/bash_completion looks for /etc/minirc.* whereas in gentoo (net-dialup/minicom-2.3-r1) this lives in /etc/minicom/...

when typing "$ sudo minicom /dev/<tab>" this gives the error:
$ sudo minicom /dev/ls: cannot access /etc/minirc.*: No such file or directory
ls: cannot access /etc/minirc.*: No such file or directory

This patch fixes it:
$ diff -Naur Desktop/bash_completion /etc/bash_completion

But is this an upstream or distro dependant thing? I leave that to you :)

app-shells/bash-completion-20081218 is in the tree and should fix this bug. Reopen if the problem persists in the new version.

Thanks for reporting!
