When emerging beagle-0.2.17 with "evo" USE flag, an error occurs, perhaps due to evolution-data-server (see emerge --log in attachement). There is no such an error with "-evo" USE flag. Reproducible: Always

that's because evolution-sharp is not yet bumped.
(In reply to comment #3) > that's because evolution-sharp is not yet bumped. > Gilles, Evolution-sharp-0.14.0.1 is compiled on my system :-) (I have copied the 0.12.4 ebuild to do that).
so I assume you have the right versions of evolution-data-server (1.12.1) and rebuilded evo-sharp if needed against it. In any case, I'm no c-sharp master so that was just the first guess that came through me mind from the other report, reassiging to people in metadata and keeping gnome in CC
Created attachment 136686 [details, diff] Patch for bump to 0.2.18 All versions of evolution-sharp in tree are too new for Beagle 0.2.17. Beagle 0.2.18 works with the newly stable evolution-sharp-0.14.0.1 (but not with the older ones). Attached is a patch for a bump to 0.2.18 Changes: * Update evolution-sharp dep version * Depend on either thunderbird or thunderbird-bin for the thunderbird backend * Quotes around misc variables Tested to compile and work with evolution-sharp-0.14.0.1
x86, your current stable is broken, you want beagle 0.2.18 stable now. ppc, when you stabilize Gnome 2.20 you also need dev-dotnet/evolution-sharp-0.14.0.1 app-misc/beagle-0.2.18
x86 stable
sorry...
both ppc stable
