Tommy helps us a lot on sunrise for quite a while already and made good progress reviewing other ebuild contributions. To do final reviewing he needs to be dev by definition and IMHO he is ready for that. He'll enhance to ebuild developer down the road I think :)

staff quiz just sent to recruiters@gentoo.org
(In reply to comment #2) > staff quiz just sent to recruiters@gentoo.org > Staff quiz reviewed: What we did: - LDAP - gentoo-core (as soon as robbat2 wakes up) - bugzilla - IRC-cloak asked (will be done by freenode staff) - #gentoo-dev channel access - sent you your LDAP/mail password via encrypted mail What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - send yourself mail to create .maildir - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located
Reopening this bug as Tommy wants to become a real developer. His intentions are to merge fixes and good ebuilds from Sunrise into the main tree. I'm taking over the mentoring because Jokey is MIA. Tommy, send your first quiz to recruiters@gentoo.org, please.
Ebuild quiz just sent to recruiters@gentoo.org
I will be unavailable between 2008-12-24 and 2009-01-07 so it will be at least then before I can take this bug.
Please contact me by IRC or email to schedule a review session.
Quizzes reviewed and after iterating cvs group added on stork.
For the mentor: - You are also responsible for the commits of your recruit during the first month so you should watch the commits of your recruit via gentoo-commits mailing list.
He is not active for a long time
status updated: he has started to commit again, just sent him a mail to check if he is still active in all the Projects and maintainer of all the listed packages for the case that needs updating
All handled with him
He looks inactive again
- Reviewing with him some existing bugs and his projects membership
he is around
First mail sent.
FTR, Tommy has replied on 2018-09-01 indicating one package he'd like to have reassigned. I'm leaving the bug open awaiting him resuming his developer duties.
One commit on Nov 25.
New commits.
One commit.
Second mail sent.
I see activity! Please check https://qa-reports.gentoo.org/output/gentoo-ci/output.verbose.html;maintainer=tommy and especially parts painted in yellow, and those EAPI deprecation warnings. EAPI-5-only packages may be last-rited in the near future.
Tommy has informed their plan to retire in -core. Giving the usual 14 days to reconsider.
