The BCM5700 patches were removed from the development sources. Greg KH staed that if any patches were missing to complain. COMPLAIN!!
All new HP/Compaq and Dell servers ship with the Broadcom Gig Ethernet port. I am now currently not able to upgrade to the next version of the kernel with manually patching the sources myself.

consider.
