Hello, I just emerged it and it works for me. I am using python 2.4.1 though, which seems to be the only difference. I'm out of time now though. So if you could look at my emerge info maybe you can see some other differences. 0>$ emerge info Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/x86/2005.0, gcc-3.3.5-20050130, glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1, 2.6.11-gentoo-r9 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11-gentoo-r9 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) Processor Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Python: dev-lang/python-2.4.1,dev-lang/python-2.3.4 [2.4.1 (#1, May 2 2005, 10:51:03)] distcc 2.16 i686-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] ccache version 2.3 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.4.1, 2.3.4 sys-apps/sandbox: [Not Present] sys-devel/autoconf: 2.59-r6, 2.13 sys-devel/automake: 1.5, 1.9.5, 1.6.3, 1.4_p6, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r7 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.16 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-tbird -pipe" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/bind /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-tbird -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache cvs digest distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.ccccom.com ftp://gentoo.ccccom.com http://gentoo.seren.com/gentoo ftp://mirrors.tds.net/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 3dnow X alsa apache2 apm arts avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts bonobo canna cdr cjk crypt cups curl doc eds emboss encode esd fam flac foomaticdb fortran gd gdbm gif gnome gphoto2 gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 gtkhtml guile imagemagick imlib ipv6 java jpeg junit kde libg++ libwww mad mikmod motif mozilla mp3 mpeg mysql ncurses nls ogg oggvorbis opengl oss pam pdflib perl png postgres python qt quicktime readline ruby sdl slang spell ssl svga tcltk tcpd tetex threads tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicodei vorbis xine xml xml2 xmms xv zlib userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS I had same etcat info as you did on qscintilla. Later, Kutsuya I can't reproduce this. Everything is installed properly on my boxes and eric itself is installed as /usr/bin/eric3. Reopen bug if this is still an issue. Ok, when I tried to emerge it today it worked fine. I've done a few upgrades since, so the culprit must lie somewhere there. Let's leave it as resolved |
