Turns out, I was made believe that those are missing stabilization, since epkginfo showed me that those are not stabilized. For example: $ epkginfo kpathsea * dev-libs/kpathsea [tex-overlay] Maintainer: tex@gentoo.org (Gentoo TeX Project) Upstream: Remote-ID: https://github.com/TeX-Live/texlive-source (github) Homepage: https://tug.org/texlive/ Location: /home/flo/data/repos/gentoo/tex-overlay/dev-libs/kpathsea Keywords: 6.3.5_p20230311:0/6.3.5: amd64 arm arm64 hppa ppc ppc64 sparc x86 ~alpha ~amd64-linux ~loong ~mips ~ppc-macos ~riscv ~s390 ~x64-macos ~x64-solaris ~x86-linux Keywords: 6.4.0_p20240311:0/6.4.0: ~alpha ~amd64 ~amd64-linux ~arm ~arm64 ~hppa ~loong ~mips ~ppc ~ppc-macos ~ppc64 ~riscv ~s390 ~sparc ~x64-macos ~x64-solaris ~x86 ~x86-linux License: LGPL-2.1 However, the latest versions are stabilized. This is likely ::tex shadowing into the epkginfo output. |
