I don't yet know why this started failing tests on this machine. It might be a GCC bug. I'm just filing it so someone can tell me if they're hitting it too. The test was removed in py3.13: https://github.com/python/cpython/commit/684e99d01df0c7c8f7c67567e2cece4673df9432. Trying older gcc+binutils and such didn't help, nor did building sandbox with the same. Next I'll do the obvious and see when the (e)uid bit goes wrong. Apparently I had bad permissions on /etc/shadow. WTF. |
