We are already working on Redict ebuilds https://bugs.gentoo.org/928119 It's a more community-driven LGPL fork. To be clear, as the (former, I guess) Redis maintainers in Gentoo, arkamar and I are happy to review a PR for valkey too. But it will ideally have someone volunteering to proxy maintain it too. |
