![]() mysql is really not portable and only supports very few arches officially; can we try do mariadb instead if we must do a DB and it's unavoidable? This is pulled in via dev-perl/DBD-mysql, should I dekeyword there? Interesting question, so until recently, that ebuild didn't test much at all because it only ran a handful of tests which did not require a daemon (iirc there were some, just not many, but i might be confusing it with another similar pkg). I think for other arches here, we've just masked USE=test for now where there's not a DB kw'd. OK, will do The bug has been closed via the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=cbe6151de0efc4f65c1182eabbca1ce673e433a7 commit cbe6151de0efc4f65c1182eabbca1ce673e433a7 Author: Matoro Mahri <matoro_gentoo@matoro.tk> AuthorDate: 2023-11-14 16:22:33 +0000 Commit: Arthur Zamarin <arthurzam@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2023-11-15 16:34:44 +0000 profiles/arch/alpha: mask dev-perl/DBD-mysql[mysql] Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/917061 Signed-off-by: Matoro Mahri <matoro_gentoo@matoro.tk> Signed-off-by: Arthur Zamarin <arthurzam@gentoo.org> profiles/arch/alpha/package.use | 6 ++++++ profiles/arch/alpha/package.use.mask | 4 ++++ 2 files changed, 10 insertions(+) |
