Sorry if I didn't explained myself properly. I was referring to some concerns about from where source code should be obtained. See https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/27050#issuecomment-1260065459 I don't think the response there is very fair given you have no other choice. But I agree that it's yet another reason we should allow EGO_SUM for some packages. Fortunately, Go dep tarballs can be made reproducibly, so it's easy for us to verify it's okay on merging, even if it is a nuisance (which is not your fault). |
