Everything about this is klunky, I think that is the file in Kmail, but I can't tell
I don't know if this process is compatible with Kmail or not. I have a full
description in the drafts which has a *subject* but the subject doesn't show in
the browse but rather this meaningless number. Is someone intentionally trying
to make this more difficult than it has to be?
Docs Team: can you make any sense of this? I can't. It looks like he is trying to force the masked version of the ebuild to install, but I really am having a tough time following this. The attachment gives some output on kernel compilation, but the prompt (livecd ~#) makes me wonder if you're chrooted or not. Also, is /usr/src/linux a symbolic link to the kernel source you are using? Hi Pete, I almost missed your e-mail. So you're chrooted allright. What about the symlink? """ ~# ls -l /usr/src/linux """ Pete, please answer in the bugreport... Anyway, if the symlink is missing, you need to recreate it. See http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=7#doc_chap2 code listing 4. Make sure you are chrooted!! Timeout |
