lp is for line printer parport is for parallel ports Hmmm... I've used /dev/lp for parallel interfaces on intel hardware with Linux for a long time. Is this a 2.4x kernel change? I'll try using/looking for the new device. Thanks! you can enable paraport support w/out enabling paraport printer support ... |
