do these two directories exist actually? seems that configure checks for the right directories: configure:9953: checking for Effect plugin dir configure:9956: result: /usr/lib/xmms/Effect configure:9963: checking for directory /usr/lib/xmms/Effect configure:9972: result: no configure:9963: checking for directory /usr/lib/xmms/Plugins configure:9972: result: no configure:9983: error: *** No suitable plugin directory found. Use --libdir to specify. *** Yeah, it's working for me. Please re-emerge xmms, then emerge eq-xmms. If you still have trouble, reopen this bug and provide the output of 'ls -l /usr/lib/xmms' *** Bug 102397 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This still seems to be a fault, solution could be to have the ebuild check and mkdir before running the configure? pkg_setup() { if [ ! -d "/usr/lib/xmms/Effect" ]; then mkdir -p ${D}/usr/lib/xmms/Effect fi if [ ! -d "/usr/lib/xmms/Plugins" ]; then mkdir -p ${D}/usr/lib/xmms/Plugins fi } Not sure about that.. but.. this should defn be reopened as it is still a failure to compile. |
