These two bits of metadata are constant for all versions of a package, except in rare cases. We should move them to metadata.xml. We already have <longdescription> and <upstream>. I'd suggest <description> and <upstream>::<homepage>. Note that PMS says > In addition, HOMEPAGE, [...] use dependency-style specifications to specify their values. but I don't see any instances in ::gentoo of dependency-style specifications being used in HOMEPAGE.
