While it exists for some, none of my systems have /var/lib/run here and I think this affects quite a few users finding themselves without a running cron (seen more reports on #gentoo as well). The bug has been closed via the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=9d36b56b990f150502a050d8d2444539bde32741 commit 9d36b56b990f150502a050d8d2444539bde32741 Author: Lars Wendler <polynomial-c@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2022-03-24 07:41:27 +0000 Commit: Lars Wendler <polynomial-c@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2022-03-24 07:41:50 +0000 sys-process/cronie: Revbump to give correct path to pidfile location Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/835814 Signed-off-by: Lars Wendler <polynomial-c@gentoo.org> sys-process/cronie/{cronie-1.6.0.ebuild => cronie-1.6.0-r1.ebuild} | 2 ++ 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+) *** Bug 835951 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
