This package is no longer actively maintained and as its functionality has been incorporated into dev-python/pandas as detailed on the homepage at http://pytseries.sourceforge.net/

Further it retains USE=python_targets_python2_7 with no USE flags for python 3 which will cause problems with the upcoming obsolescence of Python2.7.

This has been mentioned in an old bug (see #453250) and once removed that bug can also be closed.
