![]() Ping. Are the Council members going to finally start this 'further discussion'? Discussion re-opened in https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-project/message/72959ed6fe1f0100252ad6579572a736 Closing for now, as discussed in today's council meeting. Please reopen when there is input from the mailing list. Re-opening as new discussions have taken ad-hoc on IRC about the removal of OTW. (In reply to Aaron Bauman from comment #4) > Re-opening as new discussions have taken ad-hoc on IRC about the removal of > OTW. OTW is now hidden completely, except to moderators and admins (and this was done a week ago I believe.) -A Marking as fixed. Vote by council@ happened on 2020-12-13 (sorry, no meeting summaries yet): https://projects.gentoo.org/council/meeting-logs/20201213.txt Specific Motion: "Shut down OTW (i.e. make unaccessible and wipe the database if possible later) with a deadline of 2020-12-31. There is the option of re-creating a new blank off-topic forum from scratch, with stricter rules." motion passed with 6 yes votes and 1 abstention. (In reply to Alec Warner from comment #5) > OTW is now hidden completely, except to moderators and admins (and this was > done a week ago I believe.) More than a week ago actually, on 27/28th. |
