don't use internal variable ECLASS
(In reply to iGentoo from comment #1) > Created attachment 532790 [details, diff] [details, diff] > don't use internal variable ECLASS Looks good. The ECLASS variable is specified by PMS, so it's a good idea to use a different name. However, I am not able to reproduce the "invalid indirect expansion" message with bash-5.0. Maybe it's only triggered by your installed instance of 5.0_alpha::local-repo. The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/proj/portage.git/commit/?id=6a738002397ab9cfe1ff02571ffb4cddb596544a commit 6a738002397ab9cfe1ff02571ffb4cddb596544a Author: Zac Medico <zmedico@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2019-01-22 03:38:14 +0000 Commit: Zac Medico <zmedico@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2019-01-23 02:41:56 +0000 inherit: use local -x ECLASS (bug 676014) Use local -x ECLASS, and also make __export_funcs_var a local variable, since this is simpler than managing these variables as globals (eliminates PECLASS and prev_export_funcs_var variables). As an additional benefit, this prevents interference from ebuild variables as reported in bug 656354 for the ECLASS variable.
