I have tried to bump it to stop relying on games.eclass, but this is not ported to amd64 and I cannot access remotely now to my x86 box :/

I have also seen that this game looks abandoned and is probably not really used as we are the only distribution still supplying it... that made me think that maybe we could treeclean it as it also is trying to use some crazy flags while compiling (that is something that should be fixed too)

I don't know anyone would want this anyway. If they're that crazy, they can try quake2-icculus with aalib under SDL.
