Ruby 2.2 will be officially deprecated by upstream at the end on March 2018. At this point there will no longer be security patches and we will remove ruby 2.2 at this time. This bug tracks all the bugs that need to be resolved before this can happen.

Please fix RUBY_TARGETS in base/make.defaults in Portage tree.

Current state: RUBY_TARGETS="ruby22 ruby23"
Should be: RUBY_TARGETS="ruby23"
