Any chance to have it in Portage, or should I alter the Power Management Guide [1]? [1] http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/power-management-guide.xml Is base-system a proper target or should I reassign to mobile@g.o? base-system is valid. You generally can't assign bugs to invalid aliases. Reading [1] reminded me of this bug. This is IMO a good example of something that doesn't fit into base-system. /me still thinks mobile@g.o. should get it even though base-system is listed as herd in metadata. [1] http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.gentoo.devel/21854 Applied both of these patches to the appropriate files and it works as described. I definitely think these patches should be applied to the portage tree. It would be nice if some people could test the patches from bug #70163 which fixes this as well as some other problems. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 70163 *** |
