Description Micha Glave 2017-10-16 12:30:05 UTC
It seems the user tove was removed from https://dev.gentoo.org/, within his patch formerly located at `https://dev.gentoo.org/~tove/distfiles/dev-perl/LWP-Protocol-https/LWP-Protocol-https_ca-cert-r1.patch.gz`

So the build of =dev-perl/LWP-Protocol-https-6.60.0 failed.

That resource doesn't seem needed anymore, the patch is pulled from files/ now and the SRC_URI is just cruft.

Could you test this by nuking the SRC_URI line from the ebuild?

    dev-perl/LWP-Protocol-https: Remove redundant SRC_URI bug #634432

Previously this package needed a SRC_URI for patches, but those patches
are now deployed from ${FILESDIR}, and the SRC_URI is just redundant.

And now, the SRC_URI failing to exist causes install failures

    Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/634432
    Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.8, Repoman-2.3.3
