Description BlinkEye 2004-09-08 14:03:06 UTC
i tried several config files (even from scratch) and one from a working linux-2.6.8.1-ck6. startup works without any problem, but i get no mouse or keyboard support. i'm suspecting it's a /dev problem because the only error message i see is: "/dev/vesafb could not be loaded" just befor the login prompt.

Due to the experimental nature of mm-sources, we do not support and we also do not maintain the sources. Could you please file a bug with Andrew Morton, the maintainer of mm-sources so he can get this issue resolved? Thanks!

akpm@osdl.org and you should CC linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org

You probably don't need to report this, as I just spotted:
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-kernel&m=109459262810764&w=2

If the suggestion there doesn't help then please go ahead with the bug report.
