This happens when trying to run utils/key2pub.py. I tried it from the command line by running: python2 utils/key2pub.py --ssl pubkeys/linville.key.pub.pem pubkeys/sforshee.key.pub.pem keys-ssl.c And it still failed. The command that the ebuild tries to run is: ./utils/key2pub.py --ssl pubkeys/linville.key.pub.pem pubkeys/sforshee.key.pub.pem keys-ssl.c I added the python2 just to see if it was trying to call python3 for some reason. The same error message is given: ERROR: Failed to import the "M2Crypto" module: No module named typing Please install the "M2Crypto" Python module. On Debian GNU/Linux the package is called "python-m2crypto". Is this a python not finding m2crypto error instead of an error with crda? I tried reinstalling python 2.7, swig and m2crypto, but those did not help. I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Any ideas? I can confirm that this is not a bug of this program, but one of m2crypto. Specifically this bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=597744 M2Crypto needs to depend on dev-python/typing. Poke those devs to fix this. :) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 597744 *** *** Bug 605480 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This is still an issue. |
