Actual behaviour:
If you exec "setxkbmap ru", ctrl+c,v and others combinations will not work, but they will be working if exec "setxkbmap ru,de"

Expected behaviour:
exec "setxkbmap ru"
ctrl+c,v and others combinations work

Steps to reproduce:
exec "setxkbmap ru"
type some text
trying use ctrl+c,v and others combinations

Thank you for the report. This sounds not like a problem with the ebuild in gentoo, but with the upstream source. 
The best will be to report it to the developers of the program. You can put a link to the bug report here, if you like.

I will close the bug here, because I can not see how the gentoo ebuild can fix that. Please give further information if I am wrong.
