I keep getting these log entries:

Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/41-ttf-arphic-ukai.conf", line 16: Having multiple <family> in <alias> isn't supported and may not work as expected

This problem appears to be fixed in in Debian:

Maybe we can borrow their patch?

We already had this fixed, but that revision was never marked stable. That is taken care of now.
