Build log
You should post the config.log I think that this is related to uclibc. I observe the same error as you on the musl profiles. There the issue is that libasr uses res_randomid unconditionally, which musl does not have. Created attachment 405300 [details]
Configure log
As per request.

Indeed the usage of res_randomid() in libasr seems to be the culprit. Try updating to uclibc-0.9.33. According to my research the function has been added in this version of uclibc. Opened an issue at: https://github.com/OpenSMTPD/libasr/issues/8 (In reply to Felix Janda from comment #6) > Indeed the usage of res_randomid() in libasr seems to be the culprit. > > Try updating to uclibc-0.9.33. Have you tried opensmtpd-5.7.1? (In reply to Manuel Rüger from comment #8) > Have you tried opensmtpd-5.7.1? No, I went back to dovecot+postfix when I abandoned hardened uclibc profile. If no one else is trying this, can close. Is this bug still relevant given that opensmtpd 5.x is not in ::gentoo any more? |
