This bump was premature. I had already planned with Nick to get 2.2.0 fixed and working before taking on the bump, however this was made in the course of looking ahead with no knowledge of it on he part of other parties. Bug 539840 is still a work in progress.  I am actually unsure whether this warrants reversing the status of this bug.  It's a QA warning, so not system critical.

I am in the process of testing builds to identify when the --enable-glx was dropped (at this point it appears between 2.1.5 and 2.2.0.  Once all the impacted ebuilds are identified, I'll work with Ian to get them fixed.
