Er, you already had bug #519772 for this purpose. And another bug #519812 that should probably be fixed by fixing the build system. And now you've made sure several architectures can never have 1.12.0 keyworded because dev-libs/protobuf hasn't been ported to their platform. (In reply to Maciej Mrozowski from comment #0) > Feel free to opt out. There is no real way to opt out here. If there are reverse dependencies then ultimately you can't remove older versions. (In reply to Jeroen Roovers from comment #1) > And another bug #519812 that should probably be fixed by fixing the build system. Ah yes, that build system shouldn't even have the configure flag, I guess. HPPA keywording dropped. In the course of bug 519772, I tested protobug and surrounding stuff on alpha. protobug-c-0.15 doesn't even compile with tests enbaled. Can libgadu-1.12.0 depend on the higher version instead? Currently it depends on slot 0, but I munged the ebuild and it looks like it would work with higher versions, too. I've only run the test suite, but not tested actual protocol usage. The same question goes for 1.12.1. Since this has been hanging around for a long time already and reavertm is gone, I'll just flat out mask the gadu USE flag for pidgin if we can't figure this out. sparc done ia64 done (In reply to Tobias Klausmann from comment #8) > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Si-9gNnF7k Thanks, X11, for being so consistent with c&p. Well, at least it's a vaguely funny video and not my credit card data. Anyway, alpha opts out of all gadu functionality due to the problems with protobuf-c:0 mentioned in the blocking bug. |
