While really needed for ppc-aix, I've "IBM JDK Version 7 Release 1 SR 1" (dev-java/ibm-jdk-bin-7.1.1.10) also merged successfully on amd64, and prepared for ppc, ppc64 and x86 too.

haubi, we've last-rited it for now. It's up to you where to take it from here so I'll leave this open. At this point, I wouldn't bother with Java 7 and we may even drop that before long.
