Just a guess. Could it be "ccache" ? Did you get a bad xineplug_decode_ff.so under root but not as portage users? I don't have ccache installed on my system, it's just still in FEATURES. But yes, running as userpriv, it works. xine-lib rc4a fixes this problem for me, as stated in the changelog. Might be a good idea to mark rc4a stable ASAP. |
