Sorry, I can't add the build log as an attachment, I'm getting errors in more than one browser when trying. Since this one is probably easily reproducable you probably won't need it anyways. Still, here's the last couple of lines: Linking CXX executable kuickshow cd /var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2/work/kuickshow-0.9.1_build/src && /usr/bin/cmake -E cmake_link_script CMakeFiles/kuickshow.dir/link.txt --verbose=1 /usr/bin/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-g++ -march=core2 -O2 -pipe -ggdb -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wcast-align -Wchar-subscripts -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wformat-security -fno-exceptions -DQT_NO_EXCEPTIONS -fno-check-new -fno-common -Woverloaded-virtual -fno-threadsafe-statics -fvisibility=hidden -fvisibility-inlines-hidden -Wl,--enable-new-dtags -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--as-needed CMakeFiles/kuickshow.dir/kuickshow_dummy.o -o kuickshow -L/var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2/work/kuickshow-0.9.1_build/lib -L/usr/lib64/qt4 -rdynamic ../lib/libkdeinit4_kuickshow.so ../lib/libkdeinit4_kuickshow.so -lSM -lICE -lX11 -lXext -lXft -lXau -lXdmcp -lXpm -lImlib /usr/lib64/libkfile.so.4.12.3 /usr/lib64/libkio.so.5.12.3 /usr/lib64/qt4/libQtNetwork.so /usr/lib64/qt4/libQtXml.so /usr/lib64/libkdeui.so.5.12.3 /usr/lib64/qt4/libQtSvg.so /usr/lib64/libkdecore.so.5.12.3 /usr/lib64/qt4/libQtDBus.so /usr/lib64/qt4/libQtCore.so -lpthread /usr/lib64/qt4/libQtGui.so -Wl,-rpath,/var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2/work/kuickshow-0.9.1_build/lib:/usr/lib64/qt4: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.8.2/../../../../lib64/libImlib.so: undefined reference to `PrintGifError' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status src/CMakeFiles/kuickshow.dir/build.make:109: recipe for target 'src/kuickshow' failed make[2]: *** [src/kuickshow] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory '/var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2/work/kuickshow-0.9.1_build' CMakeFiles/Makefile2:178: recipe for target 'src/CMakeFiles/kuickshow.dir/all' failed make[1]: *** [src/CMakeFiles/kuickshow.dir/all] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory '/var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2/work/kuickshow-0.9.1_build' Makefile:126: recipe for target 'all' failed make: *** [all] Error 2 * ERROR: media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2::gentoo failed (compile phase): * emake failed * * If you need support, post the output of `emerge --info '=media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2::gentoo'`, * the complete build log and the output of `emerge -pqv '=media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2::gentoo'`. * The complete build log is located at '/var/log/portage/media-gfx:kuickshow-0.9.1-r2:20140329-125338.log.gz'. * The ebuild environment file is located at '/var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2/temp/environment'. * Working directory: '/var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2/work/kuickshow-0.9.1_build' * S: '/var/tmp/portage/media-gfx/kuickshow-0.9.1-r2/work/kuickshow-0.9.1-kde4.4.0' Are you sure this is an issue with kuickshow? It doesn't directly use giflib at all. definitely issue with kuickshow, as it failing :) not with giflib (In reply to Michael Palimaka (kensington) from comment #2) > Are you sure this is an issue with kuickshow? It doesn't directly use giflib > at all. You're right, that was a shot in the dark due to the other bug I found (see also). So I removed the reference in the bug title. Still, kuickshow is failing to emerge. This is a problem with imlib, not consumers of it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 486372 *** |
