Now that the crystalhd driver is in the kernel a new maintainer has split libcrystalhd into its own package which I hope will actually make getting it into portage easier. XBMC requires this for crystalhd support which has been requested for a while: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350375
The source is at https://github.com/agx/libcrystalhd
Ebuild is attached.
