heh, I was about to duplicate this to bug 464944
Comment 3 Julian Ospald 2013-08-08 16:47:06 UTC
this is fixed, so your duplicates are all wrong.
Comment 4 Julian Ospald 2013-08-08 16:47:24 UTC
s/this/none of this/
Comment 5 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2013-08-08 16:56:24 UTC
Yeah, this is duplicate for sure, it depends on what exact gnome 3.8 component are you referring to.

Comment 6 Julian Ospald 2013-08-08 17:00:50 UTC
now that is cool

you resolve regressions via "WONTFIX" and think you can get away with stabilizing then?
Comment 7 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2013-08-08 17:05:07 UTC
Will CC devrel as this is going too far

-> If you don't want to run systemd you can use any other desktop not requiring it

Hey kids, please gather at the edge of the sandbox and hold hands for a while while your nanny tells you to get along and play nicely...

@hasufell: noone forces you to use Gnome. Besides, given the background, gnome team would have my full understanding for resolving this UPSTREAM. So either join the Gnome team, help out there and do the work required (in cooperation with and in constant feedback with existing Gnome members, remember, you'd be the newbie then) or let them do their thing.

Actually, as a third alternative you could also bugger Gnome upstream or contribute there... :)

I am sorry, I was probably a bit too harsh. Emotions and such.
Comment 10 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2013-08-08 20:33:52 UTC
All resolved with hasufell finally :)
