config.log
I don't think this is the config.log for the econf that went bad. Could you attach the other ones as well?
(In reply to Jeroen Roovers from comment #3) > I don't think this is the config.log for the econf that went bad. Could you > attach the other ones as well? The attached file is the only config.log I have: # find /var/tmp/portage/dev-python/ -name config.log /var/tmp/portage/dev-python/pygobject-3.8.3/work/pygobject-3.8.3-python3_3/config.log I cannot reproduce :/, and your configure line looks to not inherit the warning option from gnome2.eclass, compare with mine: ./configure --prefix=/usr --build=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu --host=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --datadir=/usr/share --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var/lib --libdir=/usr/lib64 --disable-silent-rules --disable-dependency-tracking --with-ffi --enable-cairo --enable-thread Sorry, I can't see any difference between yours and mine. I copied yours by error: ./configure --prefix=/usr --build=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu --host=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --datadir=/usr/share --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var/lib --libdir=/usr/lib64 --disable-silent-rules --disable-dependency-tracking --enable-compile-warnings=minimum --with-ffi --enable-cairo --enable-thread I am referring to enable-compile-warnings Created attachment 354202 [details]
configure
Looking at gnome2.eclass, this option is added only if configure contains the string "enable-compile-warnings". On my system, this is not the case as can be seen in the attached configure script and the following grep:
# grep "enable-compile-warnings" configure
#
What gnome-common are you using? I have 3.7.4 (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #9) > What gnome-common are you using? I have 3.7.4 Ok, that is the reason: gnome-common is not installed here. Since I am using XFCE (plus some gnome applications, e.g., evince), I have only the required bits of gnome installed. After installing gnome-base, pygobject-3.8.3 compiles without error. So please, add gnome-base to pygobject's DEPEND. + 25 Jul 2013; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> -pygobject-3.8.2.ebuild, + pygobject-3.8.3.ebuild: + Add missing dep on gnome-common due eautoreconf (#478102 by Timo Kamph), drop + old. + |
