I've got bitten by this bug because stunnel will not start if it cannot create PID file what cannot if /var/run/stunnel does not exist. Solution is to put checkpath --directory --owner root:stunnel --mode 0775 /var/run/stunnel at the beginning of start() function. I was hit by some short downtime due to this bug, and can confirm the checkpath fix works. Can someone commit this update as an updated ebuild? Fixed as of stunnel-4.56. |
