Description Christoph Brill (egore) (RESIGNED) 2004-03-16 05:41:01 UTC
Do not install to /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts, but /usr/share/fonts

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Comment 1 Christoph Brill (egore) (RESIGNED) 2004-03-16 05:44:48 UTC
same goes for sharefont
Comment 2 N Bush 2004-04-26 06:26:52 UTC
To detect them directly with xorg-x11, a good choice for fontpath would be

/usr/share/fonts/ttf/ja/kochi/
Comment 3 Mamoru KOMACHI (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-07 11:05:40 UTC
May I change the font installation path for each package for the
moment if fonts.eclass is not going to be committed in the near
future? I was requested to do so several times because kochi isn't
caught by fonts.conf by default installation (you need to edit
/etc/fonts/local.conf manually). I'll create symlinks to the previous
location if necessary.
Comment 4 Mamoru KOMACHI (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-10 12:03:27 UTC
I'll change these font installation paths apart from fonts.eclass if
nobody objects in a few days.

Fixed in CVS. Thanks for the bug report.

kochi-substitute updated to -r3 uses font eclass (please check)
sharefonts updated to -r3 uses font eclass
