For clarification, this bug is not meant to track NEW violations of this policy (see http://devmanual.gentoo.org/ebuild-writing/common-mistakes/index.html under "Pkgconfig files") which has been confirmed by QA recently. Work with upstream to fix it, don't add new files, fix build systems that rely on non-upstream pkgconfig files. neither QA team, nor council cares about quality assurance, closing |
