the default ppc64 toolchain is not multilib. that means -m32 won't work and you won't get stubs-32.h. So sys-libs/libspe2-2.2.80_p95-r1 cannot be built on a ppc64 system? Or should it depend on some toolchain useflags? (In reply to comment #3) my guess is that the package requires multilib. we don't have a USE flag for this, but normally it's something we'd list in the no-multilib profile package.mask. for example, arch/amd64/no-multilib/package.mask is quite large as it lists everything that works on amd64 if you have a 32bit (x86) multilib available. let's CC the maintainers and see what they want to do with this. Any news on this? Now that portage gets better multilib support, can this be implemented? pkg is gone from tree |
