Description Nikolaj Šujskij 2012-08-13 06:25:24 UTC
I have LINGUAS="ru sv" set in my make.conf, but English manpages should be installed nevertheless, am I right? Alas...

 % LC_ALL="en_US.UTF-8" man mplayer2
No manual entry for mplayer2

 % qlist mplayer2 | grep '/usr/share/man'
/usr/share/man/ru/man1/mplayer2.1.bz2

Apart from making me unable to read manpage in English, it kinda breaks shell completion, which doesn't expect man pages to preset only in '/usr/share/man/'s subdirs.

It does here.

scarabeus@bugaboo: ~ $ equery files mplayer2 |grep man
/usr/share/doc/mplayer2-2.0_p20120309/tech/manpage.txt.xz
/usr/share/man
/usr/share/man/man1
/usr/share/man/man1/mplayer2.1.xz
Comment 2 Nikolaj Šujskij 2012-09-06 16:09:29 UTC
But you've got no localized manpage installed, have you?
