Description TGL 2004-02-23 08:47:11 UTC
Seen today on footnotes, gnome-cpufreq-applet is a new gnome panel applet to monitor your cpu frequency:
http://www.gnomedesktop.org/article.php?sid=1664
It is usefull for people who use cpufreq on their laptop (with cpudyn or cpufreqd for instance). I do, so here is an ebuild.

Misc. remarks:
 - i suggest either gnome-extra for the category, or maybe one of those proposed on bug #35445 if it gets accepted.
 - i've not rdepend on cpudyn or cpufreqd, but i wonder, maybe it would make sense to create a cpufreq-manager virtual. That say, some people may use there own script to do this, or rely only on the AC or DC status to choose the frequency, so maybe it would not be a good thing.
 - i've detailed gnome/gtk dependency more or less the way it was in gnome-applets ebuild. But is this really needed? This deps seem to be all already implied by the gnome-panel dependency. I don't know exactly what is the policy here, i let you correct what i did wrong.

Otherwise, the ebuild is very simple thanks to the gnome2 eclass.

Thanks.

Reproducible: Always
