Maybe it is an interrupt issue. What happens if you boot with pci=nomsi kernel parameter? correction: This problem ocurrs with ati-drivers-11.12, not 11.11. I have to try the pci=nomsi option with 11.12 yet further inspection revealed that I forgot to deactivate DRM in the Kernel, which the ebuild already warns about at build time. Nevermind the bug report ^^ So does it work disabling DRM? Here mplayer2 works as expected, i always use it to watch movies. Yes, disableing DRM fixed the problem. Ok I'm glad it works then :) |
