Description Michael Imhof (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-12-21 16:50:01 UTC
After upgrading nxserver from 1.2.x to 1.3.0 with emerge -u world the complete userdb (which holds information about passwds and users allowed to use nx) has gone.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -u world
2.try to connect to nxserver using nxclient
3.use a user/passwd that worked with the old nxserver

Actual Results:
all users have to be added again

Expected Results:
that exerything works as before...

The password file changed from passwd to passwords...
Would be nice if the ebuild takes care of that and moves passwd to passwords.

The nxserver.eclass was supposed to do this ... should be fixed now. Want to test it, and confirm whether the fix also works for you?
