Arches, could you please give a bit more priority to this bug? I plan to solve bug 314161 and would like to not have to mask that use flag on a lot of profiles if, later, it will have to be unmasked again. Also, hppa team, if you don't keyword this, gvfs will lost its keyword (and, then, a lot of its deps too), since it's probably what you are expecting to occur (bug #324511) feel free to unCC from this if you want. I'm happy with masking the flag on alpha/arm/ia64/sparc... I already masked it to solve bug 314161 ;-) Nothing to do for HPPA (no gnome-base/gvfs, bug #324511). keyworded (compile-tested) libplist, usbmuxd and libimobiledevice for ~ppc64, required by sys-power/upower... Nothing to do here for alpha/arm/ia64/sparc then This does not work on PowerPC, the binary interface it uses to connect to an iPod does not work and the connection is dropped. We'll need to wait for the next version unless someone wants to debug it. I've masked the use flag whenever possible for ppc so we can move on with keywording. I'll remove it once this is working correctly. A new version of this library has come out since I last tested it with a text based connection scheme. I'll try it again soon. The new version of the library also does not work yet. I'm still tracking down the issue. USE="iphone ipod" masked in profiles |
