Description Artem Zhirkov 2010-06-13 03:51:11 UTC
Apache crashes each second now (lately each day) and leaves this message in error_log:
apache2: ath.c:213: _gcry_ath_mutex_unlock: Assertion `*lock == ((ath_mutex_t) 1)' failed.

Flags used to build apache:
USE="ssl suexec -debug -doc -ldap (-selinux) -static -threads" APACHE2_MODULES="actions alias auth_basic authn_alias authn_anon authn_dbm authn_default authn_file authz_dbm authz_default authz_groupfile authz_host authz_owner authz_user autoindex cache dav dav_fs dav_lock deflate dir disk_cache env expires ext_filter file_cache filter headers include info log_config logio mem_cache mime mime_magic negotiation rewrite setenvif speling status unique_id userdir usertrack vhost_alias -asis -auth_digest -authn_dbd -cern_meta -charset_lite -dbd -dumpio -ident -imagemap -log_forensic -proxy -proxy_ajp -proxy_balancer -proxy_connect -proxy_ftp -proxy_http -substitute -version" APACHE2_MPMS="itk -event -peruser -prefork -worker"

I can confirm that Apache 2.2.15 +itk has been working fine for me ever since my initial install, so not sure what's happening there.

However, I do receive "[Fri Jul 24 21:56:06 2009] [error] (9)Bad file descriptor: apr_socket_accept: (client socket)" in the error_log when performing graceful restarts (/etc/init.d/apache reload), and I believe this is because of itk.

/etc/init.d/apache2, that is.

itk mpm is not officially supported. please report to the itk developers
