Please try with a newer kernel. 2.6.33 should do. Thanks I had exactly the same problem -- at least one X crash each day with the same error message usually after switching windows. Upgrading from sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.31-gentoo-r6 to sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.33 fixed the problem. I have not seen an X crash since the upgrade a couple of weeks ago. (x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel-2.11.0) Oh yes, that fixed it for me too. Reopening Alright, thanks for the follow up. Closing with the proper resolution. |
