Resolved with USE=-rss for plasma-workspace, so probably the 'rss' flag here should take akonadi as dependency. Confirmed here with kde-base/plasma-workspace-4.4.1 FYI There is also a problem with klinkstatus-4.4.1, which cannot be worked around and is pulled in by kde-meta. How about 4.4.2? (In reply to comment #4) > How about 4.4.2? Bug still exists in 4.4.2 - kde-base/plasma-workspace with rss flag needs kdepimlibs built with akonadi flag. Furthermore, I wonder if the flag is really needed, as most of KDE 4.4 PIM cannot work without akonadi: http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/PIM/Akonadi#How_do_I_completely_disable_Akonadi_startup.3F Fixed in >=4.4.2. Thanks for reporting. A few apps (libkleo, kleopatra, probably kopete) use non-akonadi kdepimlibs components. Maybe we'll need to revisit this USE flag in a future though (when people start to get used to all nepomuk heavy dependenecies... like soprano, virtuoso-*) |
